hahah, my grade 1 teacher in china is about the same. However, blame goes to me
since I constantly daydream during the class. My gade in chinese is average at
best.
The most interesting thing I remember me doing, and to some lesser extent, still
doing today. I would look closely in a chinese character and trying to figure
out why it is written this way, whether I have made a mistake. Since the writing
system drastically differs from the Roman-based letters, it can get you really
amused if you have not much to do, lol

who enjoys submitting reviews for the general public here in MT,
first of all, if you download from fansub groups, any animes in general, would
have a subtitle which is local to the country. the audio would be in japanese
and the subtitle would be in japanese

to get you familiar with the fansub thingy, i would suggest you google for it, personally i consider fansubs better than dubs.
